Greg Paco Radcliffe

Greg ‘Paco’ Radcliffe got his first guitar at the age of six: a child-sized Flamenco guitar from the Guitar Emporium in Las Ramblas, Barcelona. Don't look for it, it's not there anymore.
But any thoughts of pursuing a career supporting whirling dancers on sherry-soaked floors were scuppered when he glanced in the window of a toy shop in Golders Green and saw a plastic Stratocaster – and told his gran that he had to have it. ”It had no sound, but looked cool for performing in of the mirror.”
Sound came later during the academic wilderness years of boarding school, in the form of a low-slung Les Paul copy – setting in motion a combination of watching top and influential artists play at the Leas Cliff Hall, and then emulating their sounds in various school bands.
Onward and upward, with a hand built Explorer, Greg eventually found his way to London and the Unholy Trinity of art, music, and fashion – and other things, including like-minded musicians.
Which brings us to today. Armed with an enviable axe collection that can cut through anything and a Panzer division of Marshalls, the Trinity has become a Holy Grail: Glitter Kick.
