Ivan Panella

Providing Glitter Kick's slum-demolishing drumbeats is Ivan Panella.

A session drummer and drum tutor, Ivan started playing drums at the age of eight, which must have thrilled his parents. After developing a passion for rock and punk, he quickly found himself in demand for local events... and gigs... and festivals.

Since 2007 he's toured and played in festivals across Europe, the UK, America, Russia, Asia, and Africa. After moving to London, he's collaborated and worked with a wide range of bands and international artists, performing in most of London’s iconic venues, clubs as well as Reading & Leeds festivals. During this time he also had the opportunity to record drums in various studios including the legendary RAK and Abbey Road. 

When he's not making some serious noise with Glitter Kick, he can be found teaching drums – as well as giving private tuition he’s also covering the role of head teacher & drum tutor at London School of Music.
