Roxi Gregory

Roxi Gregory joked that her first band should’ve been called "The Dog's Tail" after industriously using her pets wagger as a microphone. Now, her unique vocals, style and stage presence have sent tongues wagging at Glitter Kick gigs all over the UK.
Singer, performer, actor – from an early age she loved singing, writing and performing. It started as a secret indulgence for just close friends and family, but the latter was set to have a huge influence on her. Her mother listened to Country & Western, leading to Roxi's lyrics being emblazoned with vivid imagery and storytelling. And the influence of her father Stan – lead singer of '60’s band The Rogues – meant it was inevitable that she was always going to have a Psychedelic wild side.
She cites Madonna as one of her biggest influences. “The tones of her voice, a song for every mood and iconic fashion sense entranced me,” she says. “As an actor too, I love anything that involves theatrics!"
Roxi has been in a couple of Indie bands that made dents on the hard-to-please Camden scene. She’s also collaborated with several producers on dance tracks, performing at SoundRome dance festival in Italy. She was also a jazz singer in Paris.
Clearly, it was a wise move to choose a job that opened up the worlds of culture and travel... whilst being thoroughly enjoyable.
